Will Smith has spent decades as one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces, but the real story behind the Fresh Prince has always included his three kids. Now all adults, Trey, Jaden, and Willow have grown up under intense public scrutiny while carving out their own creative paths. In late 2026 the family remains close and blended, with recent photos showing Will, Jada Pinkett Smith, Trey, Willow, and Jada’s mother together on the red carpet. Here’s a clear look at the next generation of the Smith family.

Trey Smith: The Oldest and Most Low-Key
Willard Carroll “Trey” Smith III was born on November 11, 1992, to Will and his first wife, Sheree Zampino. At 33 (he turns 34 later this month), Trey has largely stayed out of the spotlight compared with his younger half-siblings.
- He has worked as a DJ and released music, including the 2020 project Best Wishes.
- He appeared in a few early acting roles and music videos but never pursued Hollywood the way Jaden and Willow did.
- Will and Sheree divorced in 1995 yet continued co-parenting; the two were recently spotted laughing together at Sydney Airport after Will wrapped filming on his new movie Supermax.
Trey has long been embraced by the wider Smith family. Jada has publicly described him as her “bonus son,” and the entire blended unit has shown up for major moments together over the years.
Jaden Smith: Actor, Musician, and Fashion Creative
Jaden Christopher Syre Smith arrived on July 8, 1998, making him 28 years old. He is Will and Jada’s oldest child together and first became widely known as a child actor.
Key milestones include:
- Starring opposite his father in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) and After Earth (2013)
- Playing the lead in the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid
- Transitioning into music with projects that blend hip-hop and alternative sounds
- Serving as Christian Louboutin’s first men’s creative director and unveiling collections
Jaden has also been open about activism, mental health, and environmental causes. He continues to balance creative work with a relatively private personal life while remaining a visible part of the family unit.
Willow Smith: Singer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Independent Artist
Willow Camille Reign Smith was born on October 31, 2000—Halloween—and is now 26. She first broke through as a pre-teen with the 2010 hit “Whip My Hair,” then deliberately stepped away from the child-star path to develop her own sound.
Highlights of her career so far:
- Multiple studio albums that mix rock, pop, R&B, and alternative
- Multi-instrumental skill (guitar, bass, drums, piano)
- Grammy nominations in recent years for her songwriting and performances
- A shift toward rock-influenced material that she has said helps her feel freer artistically
Willow has spoken about the pressure of growing up famous and the importance of finding her own voice outside the family name. Like her brother Jaden, she remains active in the public eye while protecting certain parts of her personal life.

Conclusion
Will Smith’s three children—Trey (33), Jaden (28), and Willow (26)—are now fully grown adults navigating careers in music, acting, and fashion on their own terms. The family continues to function as a blended unit decades after Will’s first marriage ended, with recent public appearances showing ongoing closeness among Will, Jada, Trey, Willow, and extended relatives. Each sibling has taken a different route out of the spotlight of their parents’ fame, proving that the Smith name opens doors but does not define the final destination.
