Updated: October 20, 2026

Shraddha Dubey, the Lucknow-based model, makeup artist and social media influencer, has been in the national spotlight in recent weeks. Alongside the intense media coverage, public curiosity has turned toward her family, especially her sister Rashmi Dubey. Many readers searching for “Shraddha Dubey sister” want clear, factual information about who Rashmi is, her background, and how the two sisters have been connected in recent events. Here is a straightforward, up-to-date look based on available reports.

Early Background of the Dubey Sisters

Shraddha Dubey hails from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh. She built a public profile through modelling, beauty pageants and fashion work, later gaining recognition as a makeup artist and Instagram personality with a sizable following. She was previously married for about a decade and has a son who lives with her former husband after their divorce around 2022.

Rashmi Dubey is her younger sister. The sisters shared a close bond and at one point moved to Lucknow together after family difficulties at home. Reports indicate their mother passed away when Shraddha was young, and the sisters later lived independently. Rashmi maintained a lower public profile compared to her sister for most of her life.

Who Is Rashmi Dubey Professionally?

Before recent headlines, Rashmi worked at a private bank. After observing her sister’s growing presence on social media through reels and influencer-style content, she developed an interest in the digital space herself. She did not become a high-profile public figure in the same way, but she remained closely associated with Shraddha in daily life.

Key points about Rashmi that have emerged publicly:

• She previously held a banking job.
• She later showed interest in social media content creation, inspired by her sister’s success.
• She has largely stayed out of the limelight until the recent case brought both sisters into focus.
• Family accounts describe the sisters as supportive of each other after relocating to Lucknow.

The Sisters and the Recent Lucknow Case

On October 9, 2026, 28-year-old businessman and cafe owner Shiva Sharma died after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area. He and Shraddha had been in a live-in relationship for a few months. Sharma’s mother registered a complaint alleging foul play, leading police to name Shraddha, Rashmi, their driver and others in a murder case.

According to statements attributed to Shraddha, Rashmi had visited the apartment on October 8 in connection with Navratri-related discussions and was present the next morning. Shraddha maintained that Sharma’s death was a suicide and that her sister had no role in any wrongdoing. Police, however, listed both sisters among the accused. After the incident the two, along with their driver, left the city. CCTV footage later surfaced appearing to show them in Nepal, and a reward was announced for information leading to their arrest. On October 20, 2026, Shraddha, Rashmi and the driver were arrested in Nagpur and are expected to be brought to Lucknow.

The investigation is ongoing. Courts have issued non-bailable warrants, and both sides have presented differing versions of events. Readers should note that legal proceedings will determine the facts.

Public Interest and Media Coverage

The case has drawn heavy media attention because of Shraddha’s online presence and the dramatic sequence of events that followed Sharma’s death. Interest in Rashmi specifically grew once her name appeared in the FIR and when images and CCTV clips linked to the sisters began circulating. Many people searching for “Shraddha Dubey sister” simply want basic biographical details rather than speculation.
