Robert Lewandowski is one of the greatest strikers of his generation, but the woman beside him has built an impressive career of her own. Anna Lewandowska, formerly Anna Stachurska, is a multiple-medal karate champion, nutrition expert, fitness entrepreneur and the mother of their two daughters. As of late 2026 the family is based in Chicago after Robert’s move to MLS side Chicago Fire, and Anna continues to balance public life, business and family with characteristic independence.

Early Life and Athletic Achievements
Anna was born on 7 September 1988 in Łódź, Poland. She graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw and competed at a high level in traditional karate for years. She collected nearly 40 medals across World, European and Polish national championships and earned a black belt. That competitive foundation later shaped her approach to fitness and business. She has always emphasized discipline, consistency and self-reliance — values she still promotes today.
Marriage, Family and Shared Journey
Robert and Anna met in 2007 at a sports camp and married on 22 June 2013 in Serock, Poland. They have two daughters: Klara (born 4 May 2017) and Laura (born 6 May 2020). The couple has lived in several countries as Robert’s career took them from Dortmund to Munich, Barcelona and now Chicago. In recent interviews Anna has spoken openly about the emotional side of the latest move, admitting she felt fear and reluctance to leave Barcelona yet chose to support her husband fully. Robert has publicly praised her, including congratulating her on completing a run in Chicago in October 2026.
They have discussed the possibility of a third child but stress it would be a joint decision with no rush.
Career Beyond Sport: Business and Independence
After stepping back from competitive karate, Anna built a successful wellness empire. Key ventures include:
- Health Plan by Ann and Diet & Training by Ann – nutrition and training programs
- Foods by Ann – healthy food products and supplements
- Phlov cosmetics line
- Levann brand (with Robert’s involvement for brand strength)
- Fitness studios, including Edan Studios opened in Barcelona
She has repeatedly stated that she always wanted financial independence and encourages other women to pursue their own goals. Robert supports this and participates mainly in bigger investment decisions while she leads day-to-day vision and operations.
Life in 2026: Chicago Chapter and Future Plans
The family settled in Chicago after Robert signed with Chicago Fire in mid-2026. Anna and the girls joined him in August. She continues training (recently preparing for Hyrox events) and stays active on social media while attending his matches. Both have indicated that Spain may become their long-term base once Robert’s playing career ends. Anna has said she looks forward to a time when schedules revolve less around football and more around shared family and personal projects.
